Kickin' Kids After School Program

As many as 15 million kids have no place to go after school. Is your child one of them? Mitchell's Martial Arts offers a fantastic program that will help your child develop physically and academically. Students have an opportunity to complete homework assignments and receive any necessary tutoring. Plus, students receive the additional benefit of martial arts lessons to improve self-confidence, discipline, and develop leadership skills.

This program begins when school starts and continues through the end of the child's school year. The schedule is from 11 AM to 5:30 PM, when schools are closed. Children will receive a snack daily and free transportation from their school.

Mitchell's Martial Arts was name by Black Belt Schools of America and United Professionals as the #1 Black Belt School in America. They have 14 instructors on site making the adult to child ratio an impressive 10-1. Melody Mitchell has trained in the martial arts for 15 years and co-owner and head instructor R.S. Mitchell has trained for over 40 years. Dennis Lawson has trained for 40 years, and taught karate for more than two decades. Another instructor, Brian Heins, has a seventh-degree black belt. Rounding out the rest of the staff and instructors is an impressive roster of exceptionally caring and motivated people.
