We told you in our last issue that something is on fire on Main Street in Salisbury. Well, its getting
hotter! FLAVORS OF ITALY OF SALISBURY is now open for lunch and dinner at 215 East Main
Street, Downtown. And oh, what great food! Go for lunch, served 11 to 3, and choose from Soup of the Day (the cream of tomato with basil is to die for!), several types of Sandwiches, Gourmet Pizzas, or eight different Italian Specials. There are 9 scruptiouus $4.95 Lunch Specials: Spaghetti Mariara, Italian Lasagne, Vegetable lasagne, Fettuccini Alfredo, Capellini with Olives,
Penne Ala Marinara, Three Cheese Baked Zitti, Chicken Parm and Eggplant Parm. Ah, but dinner.....Bellissimo! The menu is extensive and incredible. Start your evening by choosing from 10 Great Beginnings:Shrimp Scampi Pie, Roasted Eggplant Cakes, Mozzarella Cakes, Shrimp
Scampi Egg Rolls, Crab Cakes, Crispy Avocado Egg Rolls, Grilled Portabella Mushrooms, Calamari, Teriyaki Chicken Egg Rolls, and Bruschetta.. Progress to Grilled Salmon Salad or Mediterranean Salad with feta cheese, and kalamata olives, or one of seven other intriguing choices. Seven gourmet pastas range from traditional dishes to Fussily with Chicken & Broccoli (and goat cheese) and Capellini with Olives. Have a taste for seafood? No fewer than 12 choices will make this decision tough, but be sure to try the Shrimp Parmigiana or the Seafood Ala Vodka.
