more responsible use of resources. Doing so, at least where gasoline is concerned, has no downside unless you’re an oil company. You save money, save gas, and pollute the air less. And in the process do your part to reduce our countrys dependence on foreign oil. We promise no political speeches here, but think about that. Toyota and Honda, both handled by Pohanka Automotive Group of Salisbury, have taken a leadership position in bringing to the American
market the automotive technology that will help us accomplish all of those laudable goals without sacrificing freedom of mobility or lifestyle. Talk about the best of all possible worlds! For this Grand Experiment we have chosen the Toyota Prius. The Toyota Hybrid System uses advanced engineering to combine a gas engine with an electric motor, creating an environmentally
advanced, fuel-efficient, hybrid car. We were drawn to the great mileage (2002 EPA estimated 52 city/45 highway/48 combined mpg.), seeing that as money in our pocket. The Super Ultra Low
Emission Rating takes away a lot of our driving guilt - we are very high mileage people. Our test drive was a revelation. The car is very comfortable. We found some great potholes and this buggy didn’t even notice them. It handles like a sports car and really holds the road. We made a
point of getting into the back seat and were delighted with the leg room. Acceleration was great and it gives us all the power we ask for. Well be taking a trip to the mountains in a couple of
months, so well let you know how that works. Our treatment in the showroom was absolutely the best, most pleasant such experience weve ever had, and weve had plenty. Every person we met, in every department, was warm and friendly while being thoroughly professional. We were completely comfortable and well cared for from start to finish. Imagine our delight when we
